Megan Johnson, LICSW - Mental Health Therapist

Megan is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and Registered Yoga Teacher who wholeheartedly believes in the human capacity for change. She has a passion for supporting individuals along their unique life path and approaches her work from a whole-person perspective. Megan believes that therapy can be a powerful tool for healing; her hope as a therapist is to provide a space where you feel safe to connect, grow and thrive.

Megan’s areas of focus include neurodivergence, trauma, anxiety, depression,
grief/loss, life transitions and perfectionism. She has a particular interest in women’s health, fertility and perinatal/postpartum mental health. Megan also works with children and adolescents, with specialized training in working with ages 0-5.

Her practice is rooted in trauma-focused and attachment-based frameworks and her approach to therapy blends neuroscience, mindfulness, and somatics (working with the physical body). Megan utilizes a strengths-based, neuro-affirming approach in sessions, and believes that we each carry our own gifts that are meant to be witnessed and celebrated. In working with Megan, you will have the opportunity to explore relational dynamics and the ways early life experiences, including family of origin and societal norms, inform identity and sense of self. She believes that you have always been the expert of your own life and hopes to empower you to author the life story you dream of.

Megan is currently accepting new clients and would welcome the opportunity to
connect with you.
