Kari is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with 15 years of experience, and the founder of Wise Womxn Wellness - a women-centered practice rooted in the belief that healing happens in mind, body, and spirit. She brings curiosity, warmth, and a grounded playfulness to the therapy space, creating a relationship where clients feel safe enough to take an honest look at themselves and the life they want to build.
Kari specializes in three areas. Her Walk + Talk Therapy sessions move healing out of the traditional office setting and into the world - drawing on the science-backed benefits of movement to deepen emotional processing, reduce anxiety, and help clients leave sessions with clarity and momentum. Movement can also be a game-changer for ADHD brains, making Walk + Talk a natural fit for women who find that their thoughts flow more freely when their body is in motion. In her couples work, Kari is a deep believer in the transformational power of relationships - and in their capacity to heal. She takes a systemic approach, exploring each partner's family of origin, attachment experiences, and the relational patterns that were shaped long before this relationship began. Understanding where each person came from is key to understanding how they show up for each other today - and to building something more intentional going forward. She also has a special interest in working with women with ADHD - supporting clients in understanding how ADHD shapes their relationships, self-worth, and daily experience, and helping them work with their brain rather than against it.

Walk + Talk therapy for womxn doing the BIG BRAVE THING. This isn’t traditional therapy, it’s a therapy experience that helps you more deeply process your thoughts, feelings, and relationships. Clients often leave sessions motivated and with a new idea or action plan to put into place.

Birth Doula and Hypnobirthing: HypnoBirthing is a method of preparing for your labor that leads to a gentler, calmer, more comfortable birth. The two-fold approach combines birth education with visualizations, affirmations, and relaxation techniques for a truly informed and empowering birth experience.
